WASSERSTOFFANTRIEB IN DER ERPROBUNG
"All power is an articulation of its wielder. There is no other
source than life - and the desire of that life to express
itself."
RUN D.M.C.: 8pm Tuesday, 17February1998
This concert KICKED ASS!!! It was one of the best shows
I've ever been to. Even if you don't like old-skool
hip-hop, this show still rocked. They audience got
really involved, and they were cool enough to stick
around afterward to sign an autograph or three.
Ska Against Racism: 5:30pm Friday, 10April1998
This was a benefit concert held at Tipitina's Big
Room in the Warehouse District. In my humble
opinion, The Toasters were the highlight of the
show. They looked like they were having a
really good time, and they really got the
audience involved in the music {which is what
it's really all about, no?}. They came out onto
the floor after they were done performing so
they could meet the kids who had come to hear
them play - very awesome.
Independents Day Tour: 8pm Tuesday, 17November1998
This show was @ Jimmy's & was headlined by the
Toasters. Also there were the Skoidats, Slow
Gherkin, & Edna's Goldfish. Even though the
NOPD shut it down, it was still an excellent
show.
Reel Big Fish: 6:30pm Thursday, 18November1999
The last show I have been to. I took my brother Jason
along with me, and we skanked the night away.
Especially liked their cover of A-Ha's "Take On Me" -
skankalicious!
